COMBINING ANKARA AND OTHER MATERIALS

   Ankara Materials can be sown in different styles and combinations that can be used for Cocktail dresses, short party dresses, jackets, skirts and blouses, and trousers with small tops even for the traditional buba and wrapper and Shokoto and Buba
  It can be sown by mixing Ankara with other type of material. for the short dresses a different type of material the is not very pronounced but part of the colour in the fabric can be used at the upper part of the dresses or as desired..  
   For example, in a skirt and blouse outfit, an Ankara fabric can be used to design half of the dress while the other half is in another fabric let us say, lace or chiffon fabric to design it.
   It turns out perfect with your good skill added.

* The weather

* Your budget
   Your complexion determines the colour and design of material that will fit you and the style you want to have sown for you. A light skin person would look better in a darker patterned Ankara while a dark skin person would look better in a lighter colour one.
   The occassion you are attending determines the style also because when using it for an official outfit, you have to sew the style to look official.
   The weather is another factor to consider. Dressed in a stuffy thick Ankara material during a hot weather would create discomfort for you.
   Lastly, your size would determine the length of material to use and the money you can afford will have the general say of you getting your material.
